I tried for about an hour to get this little pen out. I tried with he tried with pliers. I tried with vice grips. Finally got tired and ended up taking a grinder and we’re leaving some pressure on the side of the cam so I quite literally had to grind out the dowel pen. It should still work perfectly kind of retarded that they stick a pin in there.

This pen was very annoying. Had no idea what this pen was for. I had to look online to figure out what this pen was no luck. So I took a pair of fly scripts and pulled and wiggle it to see if I can break it but no luck, but finally after a couple of hours I finally pulled the pen out. It fits the sprocket perfectly. It is the right part but be worn. If you buy this product you have to pull a pen out.

front spindle area completely missing where the sprocket attaches to camshaft, total waste of money, could not even use it.
