These weights are not flat topped and thus are not stackable. Because of the raised bulge at the top, my moisture analyzer couldn’t close with the weight on the sample pan. I need a shorter flatter weight. Also, the plastic tweezers is useless. It won’t open after being in the box so long.Weight appeared off compared to cal weight from Ohaus. Difference was about +/- 5 mg.

This set of Truweigh Calibration Weights are plenty accurate for me for making essential oil blends. Before I retired, I was accustomed to using Class S1 (obsolete designation), or Class 1, which is equivalent to OIML E2. Current OIML designations, from most precise to least, are E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M2, and M3. OIML M1 are sufficient for student use, or other items that need to be accurate, but not certifiable. These are perfect for checking my balance for weighing out oil blend recipes. These weights range from 5 g to 100 g. If I needed to be more precise and measure fractions of a gram, I would look for a similar set that has more weights to include the leaf-style milligram weights. I don't need that precision any more, so this set with 6 weights is perfect for me.

These weights are labeled and total 200 grams in total. It has a 100g, 50g, 2 x 20g, and a 10g weight in a case. It comes with a plastic tweezer to allow for putting it on the scale that one is trying to calibrate. I believe it is an excellent value for the money. I recommend this product. I started as a science major before becoming a business major. I use my scale for mail these days but it's still nice to know it's accurate!

I got this set of weights to verify the linearity of a new digital auto-trickling reloading scale that I recently purchased. I already have a regular digital scale with a set of calibrated weights at the high and low ends of the scale's specifications, so I was able to use the previously calibrated scale to verify the accuracy of this new set, and use these new weights as a transfer standard for another different balance. Having worked in the Metrology field, I understand how important it is to have properly calibrated measuring devices, and when doing precision reloading, accuracy and repeatability is critical. This is a basic OIML Class M1 weight set. It is equivalent (or slightly better) in accuracy specifications to a ASTM Class 3 weight set, or a NIST Class "F" set.The weights I received were free from oxidization and accurate within the OIML Class M1 specifications. There was no calibration certificate or data supplied with the weight set. The case is made of thin plastic, so there's not a lot of protection of the weights themselves, but it does organize them and hold the tweezers. For those that don't know, you never want to touch precision weights with bare hands, as the oils and salts from your hands will add to the mass of the weights, and can cause oxidization.

I am a coin collector who wanted to calibrate a scale and see its precision. This is important for coins made of precious metals.I checked each weight individually and they were spot on with my precision scale. The 5 gr piece measured accurately and that is outstanding. Please see the picture of the combined weight of the 6 pieces, 205 gr.The enclosed plastic case is a little big, it encloses a plastic tweezers for handling the individual pieces.Happy with this product. Hope you find the review helpful.
