Bought this to replace my old yellow end engine heater cord that was always collecting ice when plowing on my 2000 F250. It did require a bit of cutting into my bumper and fabbing but now the connection stays dry and clean and I don't have to worry bout the cord hanging down and getting ripped off. Just finished my 2nd snow season using it.

This can be used to feed power into something like a utility trailer. Be sure to seal around the hole with butyl tape or silicone caulk.

This was installed in a weatherproof power inlet box that I already had, but did not want to get another $100 box just to have the right plug. Connection points are robust and handle correct tightening for the wires. A simple solution without a lot of expense.
