In order to install the riser, I needed to swap out my stem which featured an integral handlebar receiver. The riser fits the new stem, however the two bolts that supposed to secure the riser to the stem to not sufficiently clamp the riser. It doesn't take much resistance on the wheel for the alignment of the bars to the wheel to be misaligned, radially. In other words the handle bars point in one direction and the wheel in another direction.To be scure, the riser requires pinning to the stem. Otherwise, the steering system is unsafe.

If you need to rescue you handle bars in a higher position it looks factory. Very nice

I received this product two day earlier than the promised delivery date, which is great. However, I found this product is not installable on my mountain bike. My bike handlebar with stem is detachable from the bike body which meets the requirement from the product descriptions at Amazon Website. But it could not be installed on my bike. Actually, the real requirement should be " the handlebar must be detachable from the stem" in order to install this product. Thus, be very careful to examine your bike's structure before purchasing BUCKLOS Bike Stem Riser Extender MTB. In addition, most low to medium cost mountain bikes are designed as the handlebar is not detachable from stem; therefore, those bikes could not use this extender.
