I have had other bike computers but they were difficult to use and a nightmare to connect with my iPhone. The Bryton computer bundle is very nice, very easy to set up and connects with mi iPhone flawless. This bundle has a great price for the bike computer and sensors. I ended up buying also the Bryton Gardia R300L the rear light and radar. Also very easy to install and connect with the bike computer.

I had high hopes for the Bryton S500 bike GPS computer, but unfortunately, it has been a letdown primarily due to its software issues.Firstly, the units did not sync with the app. This is a fundamental feature that should work seamlessly, and its failure makes using the device a hassle.Secondly, I was unable to import .fit files from Ride with GPS. This lack of compatibility severely limits the functionality of the device, especially for those who rely on this popular platform.Additionally, the Bryton update tool is unreliable. I tried updating the US maps, but the process was cumbersome and frustrating. The unit's 16GB memory also poses a problem as you need to manually delete files to free up space for updates, which is far from user-friendly.While the hardware is decent and comparable to Garmin and other brands, the software requires a lot more work. Until these issues are resolved, I cannot recommend the Bryton S500.

Great cycling computer for a fraction of the cost of the big brands. It everything I need, including syncing to my Strava and offering turn by turn directions. MPH seems accurate including distance and timing. Also great battery life! Received it with 50% on the battery and used it on 3 rides totaling 6-7 hours of ride time and finally charged it to 100%. I feel a full battery can easily go 12-18 hours of mapping/ride time.

This thing is great easy to use and set up takes a minute to get the hang of it, and a bargain compared to BIG NAME brands. I like to see changed is the proprietary mount to strictly the Garmin standard or include the Garmin mount. however, you can order the Garmin adaptor. I ordered one still waiting on it must be a shortage lots of people ordering them. The S500 will fit on Garmin mount but not very tight so make sure you use the lanyard. the App interface will not upload to Strava automatically you have to go in and tell it to upload to 3rd party. Not a hart task I can live with it. Overall, I am impressed with the Bryton S500 unit and will continue to use it. Buy it!
