Although the one I received was damaged (and I returned it without issues), the evaporator pad element would be the correct part and looked well made. It included the felt pad at the top of the assembly, too, like the OEM filter.

It fits in my humidifier fine. I'm sure it will work as intended. I sharpened the bends on the corners of the frame by hand as they were not very squarely formed. The main reason that I am giving it 4 stars rather than 5 stars though, is because I purposely chose this item listing over others that were less expensive, because it clearly states that this is an OEM filter. That is what I wanted, with the intention of buying the cheaper aftermarket version as well and making a comparison, and deciding whether the cheaper version would be satisfactory for future replacements.The version that I received was aftermarket with the Magnet Filters brand made in Mexico. I purchased the filter through Filters America, for what it is worth, and I can't say what you would receive if you chose one of the other sellers for this item.Remarkably...the mailing address for Filters America and the manufacturer of Magnet Filters (FiltersUSA) happens to be identical.

Good price, usual fast amazon delivery. Pads fit as they should and don't seem to clog up w solids the way other pads have done in the past. A good buy.
