These grip a Phillips screw better than any other bit out there. They are a bit faster wearing than other bits but it's worth it for the performance when they're new. They also fit a Robertson (square) drive screw quite well. I'm an electrician, a lot of screws we come across are Robertson, on top of how well they grip the screws, it's nice to have a bitbthat fits multiple types of screws.

Have not had one go bad or have issue. They do tighten down the screws and can damage the screw head if you get carried away. I like them a lot.

The bits are great, but the pictures are misleading. The insert bits are shown with 10 of them, but I only bought a 2-pack as it turned out. It says that, but I didn't read it closely because of the picture. I just bought the 2" ones and it says "5 count" but then later says "pack of 1" so we'll se what arrives. But in terms of quality, can't beat Bosch.

I was slightly apprehensive with some of the negative reviews and when I 1st recieved the bits. Had to try these out though because of the great quality Bosch normally delivers, just being able to have 1 bit for 2 primary screw heads and the great price. Used this bit to take out long square screws which held together 25 year old wooden play set. So normally very difficult to remove screws. I had gone through a # of different square bits which quickly stripped screw heads, wore down very quickly and took a lot of pressure to get screws out. This Bosch bit did a great job to get these out without major effort and kept great contact with the screw head. Didn't slip out or show wear on the bit afterwards.Haven’t used it for Phillips but main reason I got it was for square bit. Will update if Phillips has any problems.
