How It All Started
Designed and founded by a Canadian shoe lover who was often frustrated by salt and mud ruining her prized possessions – her shoes. After one particularly bad winter she’d had enough and threw herself into finding a solution - the original BootRescue. Buoyed by the success of this product she went on to develop a range of care products (always all-natural), which have kept shoes and boots in over 50 countries around the world damage-free and looking gorgeous.
Care Tips for Boots and Shoes:
1 The perfect time to spray those brand new boots or shoes, with a leather or suede protector, is before wearing them. Pay extra attention to fully spraying the heels, soles and, especially, the grooves.
2 If you’re wearing them in the snow and slush and get salt stains on them, make sure to clean them off as soon as you come in – ideally with BootRescue or ShoeRescue wipes. Why? Salt can start damaging boots immediately, making the leather dry out and buckle.
3 For suede boots, once you’ve cleaned the salt stains off, brush them with a stiff suede brush to keep the suede looking its best. For really stubborn stains, you can use something hard to rub them off, like a nail file.
4 The key to keeping your footwear looking great is maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. So always resole or re-heel those shoes or boots before they're beyond repair.
5 From time to time, it's a good idea to re-apply protector spray to keep your footwear as well protected as possible.
6 If your boots or shoes get wet, newspaper is what you need. Simply stuff your wet footwear with it and put them somewhere away from direct heat to dry.
7 To keep the shape of your boots, you can buy wooden boot stuffers, but stuffing them with newspaper or wine bottles works just as well (and saves you money).
8 Before storing your boots after the winter, make sure to clean them thoroughly, again ideally with BootRescue wipes, so the salt won't cause permanent damage.
9 Store your boots out of direct sunlight in a temperature-controlled environment, as sunlight or extreme heat can cause leather to dry out, fade or crack.

I don’t usually write reviews but this product deserves many kudos! Yes I used one wipe for each boot but it took all the snow/ salt residue off and the boots look practically new!!! Highly recommend!!

These worked instantly on my black suede boots. They look brand new again!! I am impressed and glad I didn’t have to mess with white vinegar and water. This is easy, less messy, and a good price. Plus you literally only need one wipe per boot! Love it. Thank you!

I bought this product because I got a water stain on my brand new chestnut mini uggs. Nothing was working to remove the water stain until I tried this.I used one wipe on one shoe and it COMPLETELY REMOVED THE STAIN LIKE MAGIC. I usually don’t write reviews but this product was one of the most impressive products I’ve ever used. I also used it on my black uggs and it cleaned them up immediately. The wipes didn’t remove any colour from my uggs. I also recommend using this with a suede brush to create a perfect finish. Wish I could give this more than 5 starts because it truly deserves it.

It’s boot time! i pulled out my black leather booties last week and was shocked to see that they were seriously salt stained. They looked fine when I put them away but I guess they were still a bit damp. I went straight to Amazon to look something to rescue them with and picked BootRescue wipes because of the reviews and because they looked easy to use. The name says it all! My boots really were rescued. Just one simple wipe and not only are the salt stains completely gone, but my boots are super shiny and look brand new. I don’t write a lot of reviews (mostly bad ones) but I highly recommend this product.

I had slight salt stains from the snow, after a couple of wipe downs with these wipes they look brand new again and left no damage!! After photo does no justice they look loads cleaner in person! Absolute bargain great value for money

They're certainly wet & strong enough. But not great value as there's only 15 in the pack. The cleaning power of the liquid they're soaked in is indistinguishable to soapy water in my opionion.... so I basically paid nearly £7 for 15 average wet wipes.

Easy to use. Not messy at all. However, it did not clean the suede shoes as well as I had hoped. Now, it did make them look better than when I started. I think I had just hoped they would look perfect. Probably unrealistic.
