This little kit is sufficient for cleaning pistols. The quality of the tools combined with the price makes it a good value and it's handy to have a case with all the tools fitting into foam to keep you organized. Maybe add a bore snake to your kit and you're good to go.

I'm a newbie when it comes to guns, so I was scared about which gun cleaning kit to buy for my 9mm Springfield Hellcat because I didn't want to spend money on something and have it not work out. This kit however gave me EVRYTHING I needed to do the job. It has the cotton squares, the brass brushes (manufacturers recommend brash brushes) the nice little tool to stick the cotton squares through so you can run it through the barrel, and it all comes in a variety of sizes so even if you have a different caliber gun you still have what you need for that caliber. Like I said, I'm a new guy, but this kit is honestly sooo easy to use and soo compact so you can store it anywhere.

Excellent bit of kit. Contents well thought out and securely contained. Each brush is stamped with specific calibre. Rods screw together tightly and the amount of thread on the rods suggests there won't be any play or bending in use. Two good size packs of patches complete the kit. It's smaller than I expected but that's no bad thing, not so much space taken up in my range bag.Thinking about it, if you take out one pack of patches you could add a small bottle of Hoppes 009 and some oil. Job done. I would recommend this to any pistol shooter.
