Felt is decent. The glue is a joke. Sticks to everything but the felt it came on. Now i have a sticky film with detached felt. This is the worst adhesive i have ever experienced. Who's this mess at all costs. I will now have to spend hours and more money fixing this.

I was a little skeptical that this fabric would stick very well because it seemed like the adhesive was coming off a little when I peeled off the backing paper. So, you do have to use a little care when you are peeling the backing, and I pushed really hard to stick it down. However, it has stayed in place very well and appears to have really good adhesion on a painted metal surface. I am also going to replace the carpet on the skids of our little rowing launch trailer. Those are made of wood, so I'm assuming we will need to use fasteners to really get the carpet attached, since the wood isn't very smoothly finished. I think it will still be fine though; we should be able to stick it on and then put some screws with large washers through it to hold it in place. The carpet was easy to cut with a large upholstery scissor. I am actually using this in several off-label applications too, because the fabric is a great thickness to use for weather-stripping, and since it has adhesive backing, you can cut and stick it anywhere. It does have a decent cushion to it, considering it's fairly thin and not really meant as a cushion, and the texture is fairly grippy when it's wet. Only time will tell if the adhesive will hold up over time and getting repeatedly soaked with water and exposed to the elements.

I've used this for everything, including on my boat trailer. Anywhere you need a bit of durable carpet to stick down and this works great. It's easy to cut and sticks down easily to a clean surface and holds well.I've used it on my aluminum trailer fenders to keep rocks from smacking against it that come off the back wheels of my car. I've used it around the entrance to my crawlspace so that I wouldn't bang my head or knees on the wood when getting in or out. Basically, anything you can imagine this will work well for. I'm almost out so I'll certainly be ordering more soon. It's just that easy to use.

Was impressed with quality. Much better that original material on my boat trailer. Thumbs up!

I must have messed up and only bought one. Oh well. I bought the wider roll so I cut it in half. I wanted to use wider boards for the bunks but my brackets are too small. Will replace them again next year and will buy the same carpet.

Delivered on time. The length was alittle shorter than the 20’ advertised. It wasn’t clear that the product had self adhesive tape ! Which didn’t really affect the final install. Would have nice to know that ! It is thicker than I expected which I hope is a good thing!!

I’ve recently covered the bunks on multiple trailers. I tried this carpet on my last trailer. Very thick and by far the easiest to apply with the adhesive backing. No need to use flooring adhesive which is quite sticky and messy. I stapled bottom of boards like you typically would. Time will tell if the adhesive stays adhered to the boards. I used kiln dried 2x4. The treated 2x4 at Lowe’s were wet.
