The adjustable design is a great! They fit perfectly on the square rail of my pontoon, allowing me to customize the height of the fenders for optimal protection while docking. I love how easy they are to install and remove; it’s a breeze to adjust them as needed.

These do not work on Bennington tritoon. Upper tube will not let clamp tighten. Rope does get held tight will loose your fenders. I tried everything. All new ropes, soring is weak, springs not strong, cleat just let's rope slip. Don't buy!

These clips really help solved a problem for me, seems like whenever I tie up to a dock or a friends boat we can’t get the bumpers in just the right spot. With these I am setting them up along where the seats back up to the rails and they allow the bumpers to be adjusted up or down depending on the situation. One concern was that they might rub the boat cover and potentially rub through but I test fit and it is fine. These are super easy to install and based on other feedback I used some locktite on the screws to keep them from backing out.

On our lake we tie up with friends all the time, so we are frequently hanging and adjusting bumpers. These are a very interesting take on that little job. The theory of these seems to be that you attach the clip and leave it there, then hang a bumper on it when you need it.They go onto the square rail very easily and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Then, with the bumper on a 3/8” rope, you just flip the clip open and slide the rope in place. It is fairly easy to adjust the length of the rope, which in turn adjusts the height of the bumper, to make sure you are protected from whatever is alongside. My only concern is that the hangers, even though they are nicely finished without sharp edges, could wear on the snap-down boat cover. I’m going to place stick-on canvas patches on the inside of the cover to absorb any punishment. If I find that the clips are wearing on the patches, I’ll have to take them off when I cover the boat.

My pontoon has two “quick release” fender holders on each side, but there are times when I want a third. The first thing you notice is how heavy-duty they are. They feel like quality. Not that fender clips are hard to install, but it’s refreshing how clear the instructions are. Easy to attach to a square rail, run your fender cord through, adjust the length and lock it. Great product.
