Your cart is empty.PH measuring equipment must be cleaned and calibrated regularly to ensure they are giving the user accurate readings. pH instruments are calibrated to pH 7.0 first (buffer) then to pH 4.0 (slope). Calibration Solutions should be stored in a cool place out of direct sun and heat. They should be stored with the lids securely tightened.

I normally use another brand of solution to calibrate my PH meters, but not unlike the meters themselves, it's good to have more than one make solution to ensure accurate results. For the most part the readings I get with the Bluelab brand are in line with the other solution I use which is good. At the most they are off by a half point or less. The Bluelab is more expensive so I only use it on occasion when I want to verify my calibration results. So I do the calibration with one solution and verify it with the other and rotate this process now and then. A bit pricey but reliable based on my use and testing.

I use nothing but Blue lab for all of my Ph and PPM/EC monitoring and love their consistent accuracy. Got to take care of your equipment and it will last much longer. I use nothing but BlueLab supplies.
