This is not the first one of these that I have purchased. These are great for the money, function perfectly, and are easy to configure and set up. The picture quality is great. This also works with Amazon Alexa.

These two products are great quality! I wish I knew before I just bought these two products. Before you buy there things you need to know.. The blink camera that goes on the door, you MUST by the sync module for it to give you live feed. The regular camera that goes inside will give you live feed. No issue there. The one outside that goes on the door will not. The only time it will get live feed is when you hit the blink button if someone is at door. Other wise you MUST buy sync module it’s another attachment that will give live feed. After buying the sync module there was no issue with system operations. ALSO if you want live feed on the outside or recording. You need to spend more money on a monthly subscription. Which is inexpensive. But overall it’s a good product and I am happy with it. Just wish they put the information in the description of all the equipment that is needed so you’re not trying to figure it all out yourself.

The only quibble I have with this product is that the motion detector alerts every time a car or person goes by on the street, which is about 50 ft away. The street isn't that busy, but still... I have to keep that function disabled. Perhaps there's a motion sensitivity setting I haven't discovered?Other than that - it's easy to install and configure, and works well. I can see who is ringing the bell, which is the main thing I bought it for. All said, I do recommend this product and would buy again.

This is an incredible deal for what it is. I have been more than satisfied with this product. I was deciding between the blink and the ring doorbell, and I’m glad that I chose the blink. The whole blink system is very well integrated with all of their products, and everything works together quite seemlessly. You can also use the blink mini camera as a chime for your doorbell, if you choose to not wire it to your existing doorbell sound. I did this, and it’s quite nice. When someone rings my doorbell, it pops up as a notification on my phone, as well as shows a live feed on my Echo Show 8 and rings a chime on my blink mini. I can view any of the cameras from any device with a screen, including my living room TV since I have a Fire Stick. I highly recommend the Blink home security ecosystem in general, it’s really great. It was a little difficult to understand in the beginning what hardware I would actually need, but once I figured it out and bought it all the setup was a breeze. I was initially confused (like many others) about the Sync Module 2 versus the paid subscription to the app. I ended up getting a sync module as well as paying for the pro version of the app. It’s only $10, and it lets you connect unlimited devices. This is great for me as I have 7 different cameras that need to be connected. Do yourself a favor and buy this, you won’t be disappointed. PS.. This pairs very well with the Echo Show 8.

It has a good picture day & night, was easy to install and connect to the chimes in the house. My major complaint is that it has a very bad lag. On my Alexa Exho 5 I have it setup to automatically bring up the doorbell on the screen. The wait for it to even come up can be as long as 30 seconds, but is usually around 15. I don't know how much is due to the video having to be brought up, but I suspect audio alone would still take several seconds to come up. This is due to the Texas 2-step (or maybe 3?) that it has to go through before even the Blink app will bring it up. First, after the doorbell is pressed the system takes almost a second to realize it has something to do. Then it has to start up loading the video which it sends to their little connection box, the Sync Module. It then uploads the data (video & audio) to the Blink system over the internet, which the sends it back over our internet connection. At this point I'm not sure, but it either sends it back to the Sync Module for access by whomever is interested or it is available directly from our wifi by the Blink app or Alexa. I suspect it wiggles back through the very slow Sync Module. Put it this way: anyone ringing our doorbell will likely have decided no one is home by the time the system is accessible. The audio does pull through a little faster so I might be able to ask them to wait a bit for my system to come fully online. And then you had better be far enough from the door that you don't hear the person at the door through the door. Because there is about a 5 second delay between when they speak and you hear it through your app. It may be as 'little' as 3 seconds, but I'm fairly certain 5 is closer to accurate. Imagine, someone has eung your doorbell, stuck around until you can get connected, then you decide that you should oprn the door to see what's up, you open the door and the blasted doorbell is just now saying what you said 5 seconds ago! How embarrassing! I have never had a doorbell like this before so I don't know how it compares, but wow! This is not right! I may have done something wrong in setup? I have gone back over it at least 20 times. I did shave a couple of seconds off Alexa pulling it up by having her automatically start the process rather than go through the 3 or 4 second process for her to take action. And granted, my internet speeds aren't the greatest, but it is adequate enough to stream live TV with little to no problem with lag so it should be more than adequate for this. Just accessing video taken by the doorbell's camera takes a couple of seconds. I don't see what the point is of having a thumb drive hooked to the Sync Module. You can't access anything stored on it unless you pop it out and read it on a computer! Is this another choke point for getting the doorbell to get going? I haven't tried that yet. I had to wait a few days to get my temper under control so that I don't take a hammer to the whole thing...
