Clamps Come Assembled As Shown

Seal band clamp is ideal for connecting mufflers & pipes together - when you intend to disassemble later on.

Conventional exhaust U-Clamp assemblies put a crimp into muffler necks & pipes, making disassembly impossible without destroying components. These are the band clamps you have been looking for!

Designed to fit over clip joints, making it easier to joint exhaust pipes together.

Perfect for Catback Exhausts, Mufflers, Downpipes, Headers, Manifolds

This exhaust clamp is perfect for my 2021 HD Ultra Limited crossover pipe. The clamp I'm talking about is on the brake side of the bike. The stock HD clamp becomes loose after more than one use. The HD dealer wants to charge an exorbitant amount for a simple clamp, just because it's HD. What makes this clamp perfect is that is has an adjustability from 1.75" - 2.0." This adjustability allows you to tighten the clamp nice and tight, as the outside diameter of the HD pipe is 1.9," as measured by my calipers. I originally ordered a 2" clamp that was way too loose. In addition, the clamp is robust and slightly wider, allowing for a stronger seal. So, if you have a Harley with the same problem, get this clamp.

Like some of the reviews, these clamps don’t close as tight as they should. Difficult to say when buying online, but a size smaller would’ve worked better. Couldn’t have known that before trying it, but should specify more closely in the description. Had to Jimmy rig the clamp and still didn’t do the job as intended. Overall disappointed with the finished results. As far as the construction of the clamp, they are very thick and sturdy, but magnet still sticks to it with a decent stainless steel composition. They don’t seem to be rusting so far.

Good quality, almost identical to stock clamp. Put alot of torque on it and it drew up good and tight.

Had an old muffler clamp that got weak. This clamp is wider and better built than the factory clamp. Works great. Excellent build quality.

This exhaust clamp works great! Its durable enough material that you can crank down on it in order to get a good snug fit, and wide enough to give you the best chance to eliminate and leaks. The price point is worth it! Just make sure that you purchase the correct size, bc they are right on and don't get any bigger the size you order. Good buy!

Overall, I'm very pleased. The build quality is excellent with regard to the satisfying heft and clean manufacturing. One issue I had may entirely be the result of my improvised use of a jam nut to ensure a securely tightened nut without having to buy a pricey bottle of red threadlocker. I kept getting a 'pop' when I got enough tension to feel comfortable, at which point the tension was mostly lost. Finding a perfectly compatible thin jam nut was difficult, so I'm thinking that the ones I bought may have been 'jumping threads' under rather high torque, but the supplied nuts threaded on properly for the same run, and no thread damage was evident. That's still a mystery. : /I did sense that the 'I-beam'- or 'hourglass'-shaped gap-closing slide was a bit too wide to allow for these clamps to securely tighten to the point of being truly fully closed. I ended up experimenting, and it didn't seem as if I was going to achieve a final fit at maximum closure that would hold the butt-joints together under operating conditions. My digital calipers confirmed that the 16-gauge stainless pipe I had was as close to a true 1.75-inch O.D. as could be expected. I decided to cut and split-seam two pieces of the pipe at the same width as the Blackhorse Racing clamps to act as shim collars between the pipe joints and the clamps. I filled the voids with Permatex Muffler And Tailpipe Sealer after all was said and done. All the cutting on this job -- done in resignation to solve a two-year-old issue that arose because Bosal didn't accurately make an OEM-replacement converter for my '95 Honda Civic LX -- was done with a hacksaw and files. This was tedious, but in the end it yielded a sense of triumph! Ha! I TRULY feel that without the spacers the clamps would have been too loose to properly perform, while they MAY have been snug enough to hold the joints in place. As my cousin's old neighbor would say, "Hard tellin', not knowin'." That uncertainty, along with the amount of additional effort I applied to this already burdensome task that resulted from another company's error and inability to fix the problem, are my grievances in this matter. I'd like to suggest that the nice folks at Blackhorse Racing pull a couple of these clamps randomly from stock and tighten them around pipe that is a confirmed 1.75" to either substantiate my suspicions or allay my concerns, all in the name of customer satisfaction for future buyers. ; ]In summation, I'm satisfied overall. After not being under my car in a very long time to address this problem, I'd forgotten exactly how big the spacer pipe needed to be. It ended up being about a mere 2.75" -- yet it might as well have been a mile -- and these 1 3/4-inch clamps from Blackhorse fit the bill perfectly, as I couldn't find a combination of diameter and length that would permit using one completely overlapping butt-joint clamp. I'd definitely consider Blackhorse Racing for future purchases. ; ]

I am giving this a 4 star because there really isn't much room to work with . The clamp just barely gives more than 2" room to fit over any exhaust pieces, which was my issue. My piece was 2 1/8 but I needed it to crimp down to a 2". It didn't fit until i used brute Force to get the clamp on. Otherwise the functionality and quality of the piece seems to be good .
