This gets the job done and is sturdy. It was easy to assemble. However, my TV, which is somewhat old and on the large end of the recommended size for these legs, doesn't allow me to adjust the height - maximum only. That is not likely the fault of the product, which works fine. It is more due to the installation options on my TV. So the TV looks like it has actual functioning legs and feet, about four inches higher than I would prefer. As such, now that I have seen it, I cannot escape the feeling that my TV will, at some point of its choosing, walk out of my den and start exploring the Earth on its own, unfettered by duty or a sense of regret.

We order this for my son's TV when we move that was once wall mounted and the way he wanted his room set up we were not going to wall mount it at the new house. being that we purchase a TV two years prior we definitely didn't have the stand for it anymore. so decided to try out the universal method and it worked fantastic. his TV was a 42 inch so I'm not sure if it will have the same stability for a TV that is towards the top end of what it supports but for a 42 inch TCL we had no issues. definitely recommend and it's not too expensive

I will have to go to the hardware store to get the right screws to attach to the back of the TV. The directions are Ikea-style, but parts are not labeled except left and right. There are no printed instructions in any language. The assembly of the legs ended up being overly complicated. It looks like it will be fairly sturdy once I get the right hardware.
