Edge Performance Tri-fold rivet is designedto work like a moly-bolt in that it splits out into three legs at the backside. Its extended bearing surface spreads the load over a wider area to prevent pullout in plastics or other similar soft or thin sheet materials. This Tri-fold Rivet is a real time saver for many repair jobs and only requires one person. Unlike standard pop rivets, these 'blind' rivets do not require a backup washer. 1.) Works in over-sized, oblong and worn out holes up to 1/4″ 2.) Tight clamp-up and holding power, from .040″ to .354″ with stronger clamping power. 3.) NO back-up washer needed. The Tri-fold action will clamp without needing a back up washer. 4.) These rivets will work with any functioning blind rivet setting tool.

These are high quality rivets! They have nice smooth durable paint. They split and spread identical every time. The mandrel is tough, and I have not had a single bad one yet.

I got these trifold rivets to try on a project and they ended up being to big. I have used them on other things around the house and played with a few. They are strong and the trifold creates a better hold then so other rivers I have used. The were easy to load in my rivet gun and easy to break/cut off the excess.
