The B&D filter that came with the sander worked for years until it developed a hole so I bought these two a few months ago thinking they would last for many years... They probably will since the dust goes straight through it... Sanded some rusty pieces of metal and there's brown dust all over my shop and have brown snot also. When I went to empty them there wasn't anything collected to empty.... These things are not even close to being like the original B&D filter.. Way too late to send them back now, should have tried them when the first arrived. Headed for the trash can!!!

These replacement dust bags were perfect! I use my hand sander a lot and the original dust bag gave me plenty of good use but eventually wore out. These replacements are the same as original, easy to put on and remove and holds the particles inside just as it should. Highly recommend.
