Purchased two of these to put on two new bikes. I clean the surface with alcohol both are peeling up. The rubber is bubbling and peeling up and the sticky stuff is stuck on the frame of the bike. Complete waste of money.

Prepped the bike tube with iso alcohol…..let dry. Applied protector. Was fine for 3 days. Now the edges are lifting. This happened on both bikes that I applied the product to.

I ordered without looking at the reviews.Frame protector went on and looked good. The next morning, the rubber was hanging off and the double sided adhesive tape was still attached to my frame. Now I have no protector and a frame to clean up. Would love a refund!!!

I purchased this to extend the factory down tube protector all the way to the head tube. While it is not nearly as thick as the one from the factory, it works great! I installed this on a brand new 2022 Giant Trance X carbon frame. I prepped the area using alcohol by wiping then drying the surface. I applied the protector on the tube and let it set in the garage for a couple days before getting it muddy or wet. I wash the bike with a car brush and ride in mud, rain and knar. No issues at all with this peeling off! It definitely protects the tube. I even trimmed this to fit around the factory protector (see pic and look close near the bottom bracket, it blends in) The trimmed edges stay stuck down. It's also easily trimmed with scissors. I'm writing this because I returned to buy one for another bike and saw the one star reviews. This is a great product! Just prepare the surface carefully as I described. This bike has 800 trail miles on it now and the tube protector is not coming off at all.
