Step1. Cut off the power supply.
Step2. Remove the lamp socket(s) and BALLAST.
Step3. Choose one installation method suitable for your fixture. Dome(not for 3 inch light engine), junction-box or surface mounting.
Step4. Connect wires, white to white, black to black and ground to ground.

This did work for me although I had to use the original screws after taking apart the light. The screws that came with the kit were too short. I wired the led light to the original plastic connector. Presto it worked.
