bass love the top water action. they cast well and don’t reel too fast. keep the rod tip up a bit as you retrieve. I have many of these lures. have fun fishing !

This is probably one of the better whopper ploppers with the solid tail etc. Will need a split ring otherwise it starts to spin the body of the bait. Hooks are sticky as usually, overall solid lure.

HD Bluegill i have whopper poppers but the Berkley Choppo runs more true in water plus rattles n is cheaper Make sure switch out treble hooks i use Mustard KVD ultra point tru grip size # 2 bigger is better Short Shank hooks are no good after u switch hooks you want loose so many strikes plus the kvd hooks are tilted in so even when bass jump they stay hooked good luck

This bait looks amazing, it had features just like it should if it was a real fish. Sadly I lost at the first day in a tree but I was eager to order another one I suggest you do the same
