We bought these for Christmas lights initially and being on a third floor apartment building. We were trying to figure out how we could hang them. I came across these and was incredibly happy with the outcome. They were very easy to install and they have been up since October with no readjusting needed. We have went through several windstorms since I'm on the lake and not once did any of the lights come down. Great investment for hanging lights on a balcony.
