Sturdy and the retainer keeps rope or wires from blowing out when installed outside. The 8 package seemed like too many but I keep finding uses for them.

We used 4 of these to attach string lights in our atrium. We put them in with a drill. The clasps are super tight, so I'm not worried about the string lights falling out. We have extras and I'm sure they will be useful for other projects.

I have been looking for hooks that I can put in my patio that will not allow the chimes and various other items to come loose and fall to ground in the occasional high winds we have in the desert. These are deep enough i to the wood, come with anchors, are easy to install and easy to take the chimes down and move them to another hook. Well worth the money and I recommend them.

I have loads of feeders in the garden, and some of the bigger birds can dislodge the feeders, i had started to fit eye bolts and using a carabiner fixing, but that could be a bit fiddly, especially for the wife. When i saw these, I liked the idea of a spring catch, so much easier to use. Now i got the chore of replacing others!! Good price, and comes with well plugs as well.
