I attempted to install this pvc valve and could not hand tighten. The threads were not smooth. I used a socket and gently screwed it in. As I reached the bottom I started to torque it and didn’t even complete a quarter turn and it felt like butter and spun right off. After a moment of panic I used an easy out and it came out no issue. That was a huge relief. I purchased another pvc valve from the local parts store and I could hand tighten it. The threads were very smooth. I then put some torque on it although I was worried the entire time. This second one went in with no issues. Stay away from this part.

I bought it for my car Honda Civic 2012, I haven't installed it yet because it wasn't that problem and I hope it works and that it's good quality, I recommend it to others and the price is not expensive👍👍👍👍

Another hard to find item in a local parts store but of course Amazon has everything ! It fit the 2005 or 06 Honda CRV Bought the new emission hose as mine was flattened out, and my old valve was clogged shut. This seemed to help the vehicle run a little better with emissions as the old one was not moving inside and was gummed up. Amazon comes through again on yet another hard to find item at a fair price showing me why I do not need to shop at the local auto parts stores that overcharge in my neighborhoods. Thank you again.

Good craftsmanship, diy easy install. The only difference I saw was the inside diameter of the hose fitting side was smaller on this one than the oem. No issues works great!
