I got this as a gift for my daughter and she loves it. She is going to school online and stays up late at night to do her schoolwork on her laptop. The temperature drops at night and rather than heat the whole house, she wraps herself in this blanket and it keeps her plenty warm. Material is very soft and there are three different heat settings. She generally starts at the highest setting and then turns it down once she is warmed up. It also has an automatic shut off after two hours, in the even she falls asleep while doing her homework. Our cats also very much like this when it is on.

We are not much for heated blankets - but when winter comes it gets very cold and hard to regulate the tempature in the house. These ponchos are amazing! Not too hot - just perfect for watching TV or working on the computer. Also - we feel very secure in knowing that they are UL rated - we would not buy an electrical product without knowing its UL rated. A bit pricey - but worth it for the comfort and security. Thank you Beautyrest! Great product!

Purchased this for my wife as she was always complaining about being chilly. She spends hours sitting and knitting near a window so I decided to purchase this heated wrap. She loves it. Wraps right around her where she feels draft and material is super soft and cozy. Only complaint I have is that after trying to register for warranty for about an hour I gave up. Supposed to be warrantied for 5 years so hopefully it lasts and we have no problems with it during that time period. Should be easier to register than this. Only time will tell.

I received this on time. It feels warm and cozy. The heater parts warm up well. This is the second Beautyrest throw that I have used. I bought one aprx. 1 1/2 years ago. It was very similar and also had a five year warranty. However, the controls stopped working. All they do is blink thus I had to buy another. I'm very disappointed because I certainly didn't get five years from it. Posting a 5yr warranty is very dishonest. On the positive side, it did last longer then my first throw which was not a Beautyrest. I will update as needed.

Had a few issues with this blanket at first but now I’ve got it all figured out.First one came but it didn’t work, it came and was all plugged together & all lights were flashing - I believe it was a return. Thankfully Amazon accepted my return.The main problem with this blanket ... Very important to make sure you DON’T plug it in upside down!,,Easy done... Also it doesn’t have to be pushed it all the way til the ends touch.I marked arrows on mine for when I re plug it in to make it easier. My dog loves it.Also if you happen to use the blanket without being connected to the plug, you pull the plug apart - but when you go to plug it in again blanket won’t work unless you pull the main plug out from mains... all the lights flash.So it’s sensitive to being unplugged. Don’t panic start over, pull all apart and replace all back in.This is my 3rd blanket and each one had same problem. It’s annoying ... so now I pretty much keep it plugged in all the time.I don’t heat the blanket and then unplug it to wrap around and walk around as I would like to, as it’s too muchhassle to keep plugging and unplugging from the mains and resetting it.I hate the super large label inside ... it’s right at the top ... (going to cut it out)Hope this helps.It’s not made in China (everything I’ve bought from China breaks within days) I specifically bought this as it’sBeautyrest which I believe is American & not made in China.but it is tricky to get use to as you keep thinking ‘oh oh is it broken I’ve just unplugged it and all the lights are flashing and now it’s not working.’It was less expensive than other blankets.Heats up nicely, super soft ..not a huge fan of the split down the middle (thinking I’m going to see it together)

This is just a great buy for me. I live in North Carolina in a 100-year-old bungalow, in the mountains, and our winter has been exceptionally cold. We our also undergoing a house project which creates many leaks. On cold days, our heat pump can only get up to 66 degress, and even with out little cast iron stove roaring and long underwear, it's still fairly cold sitting in my recliner. Every year, I usually purchase another cheap electric throw. They don't hold up to many washings, and the cheap ones make me feel restless and overheated if I leave them on for a while.So I bit the bullet and bought this slightly more expensive Beautyrest wrap throw. It's great! Very high-quality, soft, fluffy fleece. The different technology means I can leave it on during a whole evening of TV watching and never experience electric "creepy-crawlies". I never get too hot, even when I turn it up to high (although I usually find the medium setting just right.) I also like that the controls are large and easy to read. Sometimes I use this on my lap, too. The design allows me many variations of use. This has a safety device and will turn itself off. I must admit, however, that the antique age of my bungalow makes me super careful to turn off appliances, so I haven't tested that automatic turn-off yet. My spouse and I had the bad viral cough and cold going around, and I just wrapped myself in this around my head and shoulders, used a regular throw on my lap. It felt great on head and shoulders and really soothing. I realized my arthritis is much better this winter despite the intense cold. Perhaps it's this throw's soothing heat? I have not yet washed it, so cannot comment on durability. Very detailed and complicated instructions included. I will probably wash by hand in the spring and line dry. Even if it breaks, this has been entirely worth it and I will buy another. The only downside is I did get a little tintinitis from the throw when I wrapped it around my head during my cold, but I get ringing in my ears from almost any electrical or electronic device. The ringing went away after my cold. I would also suggest the company create this throw in more colors and patterns. I prefer muted, solid colors for a throw, to blend with the patterns on my stuffed furniture.
