I bought a set of these because I wanted to craft some large velvet bows for my Christmas tree. I used wire edged ribbon and using the green wire, twisted loops into a bow. I didn’t want to “tie a bow”, I wanted the wire to create the bows to give them a shape that would last for years. The wire is really sturdy — not flimsy at all — and yet easily bent in to the shapes I wanted. Highly recommend this product. 22 gauge is the way to go.
