The chain had rust through out the whole chain. I had to paint over the brown spots to cover them. I saw others also mentioning about receiving the chain with rust. Bad item.

Okay so I bought this hoping that the reviews were wrong and I can say it’s a solid 50/50 on the reviews being accurate. People are right the chain came rusty but honestly you can’t really tell when it’s hung up. It’s definitely not the strongest chain ever made but it’s definitely not flimsy like some reviews state. I don’t know what heavy objects people are trying to hanging from their ceiling but it works just fine for my hanging plant (roughly 10 pounds). I did have to use pliers to close the rings all the way so their weren’t any gaps where the rings met. Honestly for $8 it works to hang something on the lighter side.

I got this chain a few months ago and it is absolutely perfect for hanging my plants! The previous bad reviews are such a shame, because I came here today to buy another but they’re sold out :( I wish I could buy the complaining buyers chains from them because I really need another one *sigh*

I loved everything about this hook. I have broken a few of my wind chimes on other flimsy hooks I have purchased. If you don’t want that to happen to you BUY this hook.

this was the perfect length to hand my galvanized buckets. Not too long, not too short. It works well with my farmhouse décor. Seems very study and have no complaints. Will keep these in mind when I need mental chains in the future.

For a chain it's a very nice chain. It's strong enough for hanging plants and serves its purpose very well.
