Apparently, this company has their own way of measuring spokes, not from the inside of the j bend, but the overall length including the head. It's taken multiple orders and failed wheel builds to figure this out. I cannot argue about the price, 33 cents per spoke, sometimes less is good, and the quality of the spokes are good. Alas, like all dimensions on Amazon, they are made by a minimum wage employee who likely needed a bathroom break and merely needed to get some blanks filled in on a description to fulfill a quota, (you can't manage what you can't measure afterall). I haven't decided whether I need to order from someone who has the knowledge as to how to use a ruler, the cost is so low I may put up with the hopeless description, I don't know.

These are my second choice for spokes. DT Swiss is my first choice. The nipples of the DT Swiss spokes have a deeper cut for the screwdriver head than Bevel’s nipples. It makes the Bevel spokes harder to tighten. I also think the other end of the Bevel nipples doesn’t take the tightening wrench as well as DT Swiss.

Got exactly what I ordered. The spokes installed perfectly. Nipples seem to be very good quality. The spokes are a little thicker than the stock ones on my tire, but not so much that they stick out.

Not sure what the complaints listed are about. What I received was a set of nicely finished black spokes with nipples. Both look of good quality and the nipples are non-magnetic, not sure which metal they are made off. Shipping was about 3-4 days, a week at most, but si was in no hurry. The wheel I rebuilt looks awesome. For this price, these spokes over-delivered.
