The corse thread is not accurately machined. It will not tighten all the way to make a seal unless you use three gaskets in my case (only one supplied). Wish I had tried to tighten it all the way before attempting installation. It messed up my work (silicone everywhere) and it took me awhile to diagnose what went wrong. Buy it if you want to waste your time and money.

Fixed my drain and took me about 30 minutes to get it installed. Product is working as advertised.Only complaint is the screws that came with it where too big to fit in my overflow cover. I ended up using the original screws from the old cover to attach the new one. Possibly in the future, it'd be helpful if this product came with two sizes of screws because it seems there are multiple sizes out in the field. If I would have forced in the new screws, they would have likely damaged the drain cover pipe and I would have had a bigger problem on my hands.

This drain should be easier to clean than the previous old-fashioned one we had in there. The plumber reported no problems during installation.
