I used this bright green hat for a photo shoot and it did not disappoint! The glitter surface stays on and is nice and sparkly. The hat has a felt type liner that is soft to the touch. I put this hat on an average teen boy and teen girl. The hat was a little big for the girl and a little snug for the boy but both were able to manage it just fine. Interior circumference is 22.5 inches. I recommend measuring the circumference of the person wearing the hat if you need a close fit.

First, in case you didn't notice, any picture they're showing of a "person" wearing the hat is imagined by a computer and isn't even the actual hat. I get that they're trying to save money, but more companies are doing this and it's getting ridiculous.That means the top hat shape is simple, not with the curves and height on the top part that would make it look nicer.That's alright if you know it and you're just getting this for fun. The woven foil material doesn't seem like it's designed to last, but should hold up to careful use for a while.There's no sweat band or way to adjust the fit. If you have a small head like me, this means you need to stick hat reducer strips in the hat to make it work. But at around $15, the hat is so inexpensive that it's hard to complain about that.The underside of the hat is sort of a low-nap miniature golf carpet material. It can get a little warm. Fortunately, my hat reducer strips have stuck well to it overnight, which they don't do as well on more felt-like hats.So anyone scrutinizing the hat will not mistake it for high quality (or even if they just looked at the ribbon banding it), but it can do the job as a fun costume/dress-up hat.
