For the money, these will last for a few years W/ a coat of 5200 over wear spots now and then.

Using the size chart I order XL and gloves filled with water immediately. Velcro wrist straps designed for a bare wrist much much thicker than mine. Maybe designed to fit over a wetsuit sleave at the wrist?

These mitts are the good stuff. They keep my hands warm in cold water, which is their whole reason for being. If you get a pair of these mitts and you haven't used three-finger mitts/gloves you might want to practice stuff like knot-tying, working with any of your usual tools, or working your BC or drysuit inflator on land, or at least in controlled in-water conditions, before heading out "for real," because they definitely affect the sense of touch.

Its difficult to size these gloves but thats true for most scuba gloves from my experience. I ordered a size up (XL) and length is a tad too long and the body/palm of the glove seems too roomy. I could like fit twice the thickness of my hand in the palm area.

Mitts work great for me very warm Gold Dredging in Alaska 40 degree water. Only this I did was used 3M 5200 fast cure marine adhesive on the inside of the mitts, if you don't mitts wear out pretty quickly (but i knew this when I made the purchase).
