Not as thick as other 5mm gloves I've worn, yet are warmer and provide more dexterity. The jury is still out on durability, as I only have 2 dives on them so far, but they seem pretty solid.

Went diving in a quarry and the water was really cold, about 42F and I wore these 5mm Bare gloves and never felt the cold at all. Love that the 5mm keeps you warm like a 7mm glove but still allows you to be able to grab things like air flow valves, latches, bolt snaps. Dexterity in these gloves is excellent for a 5mm. Only issue I have is that the finger tips on my glove is already falling apart after about a dozen dives. Probably just my pair.

Overall, I believe this is a great glove design with one exception, the palm does not incorporate any design to improve the wearer’s grip. It’s actually quite slippery. Aside from that, I’m very happy with these gloves!

Great for colder water diving. Used them down to 50 degrees and was warm the entire dive. They are thicker so be aware when trying to manipulate valves and other items.

These 5mil gloves are great because for me, they fit snug and I can move my fingers and hands quite well. They are a little difficult to get on/off but I would assume that's to be expected. There is a size chart on the Bare website. I was on the edge of the measurements so I tried the x-small and the small. They both fit, but I went with the small. Happy diving!

I used these gloves to dive in Yellowstone Lake at 44 degrees. They are the warmest and most comfortable gloves I have every used. The hardly let any water inside.

Much warmer than my last 7 mm gloves, comfy and easier to do things in. Only lost a star because they are harder to take off and put on.Worth it for the rest of the functionality
