The package was delivered and they fit and torqued just like I had hoped. Good value, I would buy again.

I read an earlier review, which complained about the poor quality control of the bolts. The reviewer found large burrs that could potentially damage the interior of his engine. I carefully checked the two bolts and found them to be flawless in fit and finish. As such, these cam phaser bolts are a bargain, and are delivered faster and cheaper than special ordering them at the local auto parts store.

it holds the cam phaser to the camshaft. Worked great.

I wish this item can be used again and again. But they are used only once and that's it. Thanks.

bought these for my 07 fX4 5.4 3v, the person I bought the truck from redid the timing chains and tensioners, it was done incorrectly so I had to pull it all off and redo it. these bolts are torque to yield, meaning one time use. ford wanted 40$ a piece. these worked just as good and are very good quality. I have read some reviews about burs or other pieces of metal needing to be cleaned off, I didn't have any of those issues.

Great quality for the right price. Seem to be doing what they are designed for.

I bought these knowing full well they are not OEM. They are a bit cheaper and easier to get. They arrived quickly and seem to meet specifications. HOWEVER... The quality control is unacceptable. Upon inspection i realized both bolts had a metal chip in the oil path from the drilling operation. This chip was slightly still attached to bolt. I used a small tool to free the chip from each. This is completely unacceptable for a product that is to be used inside an engine. This chip would likely break off on its own after installation or when oil flowed through the passage. The oil would carry the chip into the cam control oil passages. The chip is steel and of sufficient size to do major damage. Had I not inspected the bolts thoroughly, I would have installed them and never known why I had a major failure shortly after. The pictures show all you need to see. The chip is a result of the drilling op from the bottom of the bolt towards the top. They do not take the time to clear the chip from the bore. The graph paper is 1/4" squares so these are NOT small chips. The tool is magnetic showing they stick and are not simply excess coating. They are steel chips... on an internal engine bolt inside an oil passages. If you dont mind reworking the bolts I guess buy them. I would never buy them again. Even the most basic quality control inspection would catch this. The manufacturer simply chose to not care about the leftover chips.
