It boasts about 50 mile range. It won't even transmit 6 miles (From Urbana MO to Pittsburg MO) And I ordered a handheld CB radio and got this garbage. No lower frequencies are programmable (like CB), Confusing saving frequencies, and scanning is slow. Can't program sub frequencies. Not real sure what to do with it. It's not what I ordered.
