So my growing 13 year old is getting ready for football again. Got this bag to have around the property for drills and tacklingh and what not. He is around 200 lbs. He will do a few tackles on ths thing and so far it has held up. Obviously he is not going 100%. But to keep him in football shape and for him to continue to keep that mind/muscle connection in relation to footballk, this durable tool is very imprtant. It has adequate size and it moves and cleans very easy when not in use.

This dummy is not as heavy as I expected but fills to a nice size suitable for little league football practice, or just fun in the back yard. It could also be used for MMA practice. It seems durable enough to take a beating for quite some time. The grips are nice and properly placed. I think this is a good value at this price point.

We’re impressed with the quality and design of this tackling dummy by BALAPET. The outer shell is a durable leather look material, the three handles are solidly stitched, and the zipper flows smoothly. The inner core arrives vacuum packed and is easier to shove into the case immediately before it totally expands. The shell does however have a slick covering that aids with sliding it in. It’s definitely durable enough for our use and the cost is less than many others I researched here on Amazon. It has ended up being a huge hit with our 3 and 5 year olds to play with on our trampoline. We also have adults that pile in with them and enjoy it. They have tackled, wrestled, punched, kicked, and rode this tackling dummy. Even though it’s not advertised for kids on a trampoline, its actually a perfect place for them to use it. They can charge it and rough house and don’t get the injuries they would on the ground. It’s a great way to expend all their energy. We don’t leave it out in the weather so I can’t vouch for its longevity if you do. We use this daily and still have no complaints.

This BALAPET High Density Foam Football Tackling Dummy is an excellent product and works great for almost any high impact activity.I'm using mine for some boxing work and there are many applications where this bag will be useful.Im very happy with it so far but one concern I do have is with the thickness of the outer cover. the cover is quite thin and the handle only seem to use a single stitch top and bottom. I kind of expect the handles to be a point of failure in the future but so far its pretty great and does exactly what we need it for.

The BALAPET High Density Foam Football Tackling Dummy caught my eye because of the rather hilarious photo of the guy "tackling" it, which was obviously taken while he was standing, and then the photo was tilted over. 😂 Sorry, I have a warped and nerdy sense of humor! My husband and I have owned a boxing/MMA gym since 1994. We have probably tried every kind of equipment in terms of punching bags, blocking pads, training gear, etc. So, I had to try this out in person. I was surprised that it arrived in such a small box. I initially thought I had misread something and didn't see that maybe you had to fill it with your own material, even my husband thought the same thing. But no, my husband put the vacuum-packed foam core inside the PU leather casing, and Boom! It inflated itself perfectly. Okay, maybe not Boom! fast, more like, Whooshhhh! When set up, it looks like a heavy bag, except it isn't, you know, heavy. But it would be a great extra bag to have to teach punches, kicks, and takedowns or pair people up and have one hold the bag while the other practices techniques. Okay, I confess that as soon as I saw this leaning on the ropes inside our boxing ring, I grabbed it, threw it down, and pounced on top of it in a crazed "Fists of Fury" ground and pound. Yes, people laughed. 🤣 It held up perfectly, and I had even dropped some 'bows. 😆 Granted, I'm only a 5'1", 120 lb female. But for the price, it's great fun! And the fact that it's softer and lighter than a heavy bag means that it's very safe for young or beginner fighters to practice on. This is a great piece of training equipment, very versatile, and I like it much more than I thought I would!

Ordered for my 13-year-old and was very impressed. Blows right up out of the sealed bag and is very durable. Looks to be a good budget choice for individuals under the varsity level.

The sports bag padding's packaging was impressively thorough, much like the meticulous shipping of mattresses, reflecting a dedication to excellence. I urge you to promptly insert the padding into the cover upon opening, as delaying would necessitate a more forceful fit. Its inflation was remarkably rapid, requiring less than 24 hours. I am thrilled with my purchase and anticipate utilizing it for football and basketball training with confidence, knowing it will remain resilient throughout several seasons.

This tackle dummy is well-made and works great for our needs. I really appreciate the silk material used on the inner foam—it makes putting the cover on incredibly easy. We’re primarily using this pad for upper body training, and it’s serving that purpose perfectly.
