I use this as a cover for the pad. It is not water resistant. I also use something on top of it for added protection from messy situations. The other pad is the one I frequently change as it sometimes gets soiled from diaper blowouts. The other pad just lays on top so it's easy to toss into laundry. It was a three pack. But I am glad I also bought this fitted cover just so it keeps it soft and cushioned.

I love this.. I bought in blue originally for my son and was excited to see it also came in pink for my daughter. I love the softness and vibrant pop of color in nursery.
