Well made binder and expected from the Avery brand. I like the added detail of the pin and socket type design of the D-ring. I was not expecting the binders to have the clear slips in the front and back for extra papers, Avery out did them selves but not having one in the front. They installed 2 each front and back.

Purchased this to categorize my home receipts, the ones that stay with our home if we ever move. I have a three-inch heavy-duty binder () for the receipts that will move with us if we ever move, because there are more of them. This actually works perfectly for our needs. It is strong enough to hold several plastic packets () of receipts. This system works great and this binder is working well! I'm very happy with it.

Be careful of Avery's new design. The amplitude of the wavy perforated design to make it more durable makes it weaker, especially if you have several things to cram into a book bag. Mine tore right down from the top down to just over a quarter of the way down. The perforated design makes it more like a perforated postage stamp that is easy to tear than a more durable binder. If Avery made it less perforated by stretching the waves of it out to make it occur less frequently, then the binder would most likely be more durable and actually match the company's promise. Other than that, the binder is okay.

I generally bring my notes back and place them in the binder, RARELY will I carry these binders with me to school. The one lever for opening the rings works well, without requiring any unusual about of pressure. I bought 3 about a month and a half ago, and they are all doing the job nicely. I'm actually kicking myself for not buying a few more. Overall, a reliable product. You won't be sorry. The only thing that should probably be noted. I did get the blue, and it is slightly darker than pictured. It is more like the primary color blue and not the pretty lighter blue that the picture showed.

I use binders quite a lot in my profession and was beginning to have difficulty opening them due to arthritis. This binder eliminates that difficulty due to the EZD Ring which allows you to open the binder with one touch! As described, it is also very sturdy and holds a great deal. Great product!

At $3.88, this was the lowest cost binder I could find on Amazon (at 2inches, with D-rings).Ring construction seems pretty solid for the price. Its probably not sturdy enough to carry around in a backpack every day. If you just need it to hold papers and live on a shelf most of its life, I think it will be fine.It has 3 nice pockets on the inside front and back cover. I thought this was a pleasant and unexpected detail.Edit - I just came back to buy more binders. looks like the price jumped from $3.88 to about $10. $4 or $5 is about right for the construction. At $10, I'm going to look for something else.
