The descriptive title and picture says white plastic. But the product details at the bottom of the page indicate the item is stainless steel mesh. IT IS WHITE PLASTIC AS PER THE HEADLINE PICTURE AND JUST WHAT I NEEDED.Very speedy delivery.

Its a strainer caps for an Attwood pump. Kinda hard to mess that up. Will pump water out of my homemade cooler live well without sucking in a fish.

I'm using this to cover an intake for a live well. For that purpose it works great. I got a finer screen for the recirculator pump to filter fish scales, as the holes are big on this one. Just depends on the use, and this one works well for my application.

Works great. If it starts to get plugged, just turn off the pump for a few seconds and it's good to go. Highly recommended.

bought this for the attwood aerator pump on my boat. I wouldn't call this a "screen" but its better than nothing at all. on the other hand you wouldn't want too much restriction either or it would take forever to fill the live wells. works great. would recommend to others. would buy again.

i purchased two, one for the thur hull pick up and one for the live well over flow using Attwood Corporation 3877-3 Thru-Hull Connector. Thread type do not match up. Description from seller "" Prevent debris from clogging baitwell drains and aerator pumps "" Works as described with aerator pump but not drain connector I purchased.
