at 5'9" the 24-30 inch pedestal was too high for me even at the 24" setting. This pedestal has a range of 15-18 inches which is perfect for me. Same adjustable power mechanism which worked perfectly for me for years on the 24-30 inch pedestal.

It was not stainless internals, not for marine use, rusted and broke within a few months. Junk!!!

The product speaks for itself but I am very please with this pedestal. I’ve used a 24 to 31” most of my life but now that I am getting older, I need to actually squat at times. This pedestal is perfect. Very durable and can lock butt seat in place.
