This oil change pump extractor using pure copper for the motor and alligator, with good electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and rust free, effectively avoid leakage or short circuit.

Step to Use

(1)Warm up the engine for about 5 minutes to reduce the oil viscosity. It's important that the engine oil is warm (not hot) when extracting. (2)Turn off the engine and loosen the filler cap (for the time being).

(3)Connect the power clip of the pump body directly to the battery. (4)Remove the oil level gauge and insert the thin hose of the pump. (Notice if you put it to the innermost very quickly,it won't work).

(5)Gradually insert the hose while operating the pump.(6)When it is inserted to some extent,the operating noise will change and the oil will start to be sucked up.

(7)Put the thick discharge hose on the waste oil tray. (If you put it directly in the waste oil treatment box, you will not know the amount of waste oil collected.)

Attention & Notes:

(1)Do not let old or fresh oil seep into the ground or into the sewage system to protect environment, collect the old oil and dispose at your local collecting station or oil-dealer.

(2)Do not test the oil siphon pump with water, nor use it for water.

(3)Do not use the oil pump for fuel, petrol, paraffin or other flammable liquids.

(4)Any problem with this oil extraction pump, please let us know in time, you will get a satisfactory result.

So this is actually 2nd one… first one smoked and gave it a try again… so for those wondering on polarity… there’s a flow direction arrow and also the clips are set for direction of flow… now let’s say you want to reverse the flow you just simply reverse the connection on the clips… I have done it several times now cleaning my trans and no issues or leaks. Great product for the price IMO

Pump would not spin motor because the cover was pinched to the vane rotor. I took it apart and fixed this but the pump smoked itself and contaminated the new oil I was planning on pump. Total POS.

The unit display shows ......Red Anode = negative. -Black Cathode = positive. +" FYI "( Anode is negative - )( Cathode is positive + )These colors as displayed are the opposite of all US battery covers and indicators ! That being : Red positive + / Cathode, and Black Negative - / Anode !I haven't bought mine yet, but looked at photos and videos to find that most are being hooked up backwards, definitely could cause the unit to fail !Be sure to read the instructions before use, as they could reverse the colors and then this message would be wrong and could destroy the unit.If you hooked yours up backwards and it failed, please remove your unwarranted negative review as it seems unfair.
