I had a claw type screw down spring compressor. I hated it. This cheap spring compressor saved me alot of time and aggravation. I used it on small block chevy heads. LS springs. I ended up welding a 1/4 socket to top of crank handle to make it even better.

I didnt expect much for under $20. I needed a tool to replace springs on a 2.0L LNF head. The tool is cheap and a bit inefficient but it does work. If it had a bearing on the pusher side so the tool didnt try to spin on the valve spring it would work tons better. Its a bit of a pain but it got the job done.

So much better than trying to use pliers or sockets from your tool box. For the price it’s a no brainer. Was plenty strong enough for the V8 valves, did not distort or bend.

Been trying other valve spring compressors without success. Gave up and ordered this . It came in two days and 5 minutes after I opened it the the case I was done. I should have bought one sooner.

Sorry no photo, job was done and over in a snap, I didn't stop to think of tool in action photos.Tool works very well, easy to use, rigidity is good-seems more rigid than my other "hand spring lever lock" type valve compressor. This ATPEAM Valve Compressor my be low cost but it is perfect for the OHC 4Runner cylinder heads and other similar heads with deep recessed valve springs. I'm pleased with it. Now it will sit on a shelf probably forever and never be used again. Why spend more cash..get this one, good value, low cost. ;)
