Step to Use

(1)Warm up the engine for about 5 minutes to reduce the oil viscosity. It's important that the engine oil is warm (not hot) when extracting. (2)Turn off the engine and loosen the filler cap (for the time being).

(3)Connect the power clip of the pump body directly to the battery. (4)Remove the oil level gauge and insert the thin hose of the pump. (Notice if you put it to the innermost very quickly,it won't work).

(5)Gradually insert the hose while operating the pump.(6)When it is inserted to some extent, the operating noise will change and the oil will start to be sucked up.

(7)Put the thick discharge hose on the waste oil tray. (If you put it directly in the waste oil treatment box, you will not know the amount of waste oil collected.)

Kindly Notes:

(1)The unit just use for drawing out diesel oil and hot engine oil ( the temperature is 40℃-60℃). (2)Please clean the oil - extractor by diesel oil and keep both inside and outside clean.

(3)The unit is unable to use for combustible material such as gasoline paraffin and so on.(4)If the engine oil is cool , please start engine to properly heat up but turn off the engine when use the unit.

(5)Put the waste oil into suitable container to avoid polluting.

Works for what i needed it for and it is as good as the overpriced ones you might find on amazon or in store anywhere. Was well worth it to get a job done on a transmission fluid fill for one of my cars.

First of all, this is perfect low cost pump I’ve used. Noise level is a little higher than others but the performance is great. Super easy to use and set up, size is average, and the quality feels decent.

Works as advertiseded. Great for those engines that say never change the oil, but you should. The varmints at the factory don't put a drain plug. Much easier then turning it upside down.

But I had one exactly the same style a few years back only it was orange and black instead of yellow and black color. I used it one time to pump out old oil in 2007 Kawasaki STX12F jet Ski through the dip stick tube (all necessary tubing included) with no problems at all. However, I stored if for a year after draining it the best I could prior to storage and when I tried to use it again it failed to operate. I’m hoping I have better luck with this new model.

I purchased this pump to change oil in my jetboat. The pump worked like a charm! I had no issues. The pump only took a few minutes to pump out the old oil, did not heat up & was not very noisy. I would buy again.

This is a great little pump. I used it to pump all the oil out of my 2010 Chevy HHR. It performed like a champ. Pumped out all oil in about 10 minutes. When I got to the very last I just pulled on the tube running into the oil pan and wiggled it around to get it to pump out the very last of the oil. No problems. Work perfectly and is exactly as described.

Had high hopes for this battery powered fluid transfer pump to drain engine oil. It did not work. Warmed up the car for 3 min, then connected it and let it run for ten minutes and it barely got any oil at all. Then, tried again. Warmed up the car for 10 min, then let it run for ten minutes and kept pushing the suction tube down into the oil shaft and lifting it up slightly as it sucked away. It advertises 3L per minute, so it should've been done in 2 minutes! But after 15 min it was "done". Removed the oil filter and there was still a ton of oil left. Removed the oil plug and there was still maybe half a liter left. The whole point of buying this was to not have to go under the car and remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil. So it didn't work. Plus, when removing the oil drain plug I don't have to spend 10 minutes warming up the car. Also, the plastic hoses make a mess, dripping oil when you carry it after use. It is a good idea, just needs to work.

Did the job. Managed to suck the transmission fluid out of two vehicles relatively well, but only enough to replace with Lucas' fluid. I wish it had better suction because at this rate I just feel almost like it's a throwaway device. It seems to not have enough capacity to really suck well enough to feel like it's a long duration item.

we have a riding mower that has a terrible procedure for draining the oil for a change. you have to take off a side panel add a drain tube. when drained, the clean up takes lots of time and the side panel takes at least half an hour to replace. A friend recommend this pump. We were impressed because it not only worked as advertised, it saved us all the time it takes to remove & replace the side panel, drain the oil, and clean up. The only caution is if your mower battery is old or low, make sure you mow right away to recharge your battery or use a charger to make sure it's ready for your next mow.

Not that there's anything wrong with taking your car to auto repair shops to have them change the oil for you, it's just that I've heard stories of shops taking advantage of clueless customers by saying "They can only fix this problem if THAT problem is taken of first." I live in a big city too, so I didn't want to take any chances. Besides, I like saving money, so I'll do whatever I can to save as much money as possible, and this little pump lets me do that. I don't have the tools to change the oil the traditional way, and even if I did, I would have nowhere to keep them (I live in a small house).I love the idea of only paying for the oil I'm putting in, which is usually around $20-$25 bucks. The tubes that come with the pump were a little tough to attach, as I had to use a work glove just to get the small one on without hurting my hand, and they were a bit stiff out of the box too. I made sure to make the ring clamps extra snug around the tubes to keep them from possibly popping off while the pump is in use. When you change your oil using this pump, the small tube goes directly into where the dipstick goes into the engine, push it in there until you either can't push anymore in there, or you're almost out of slack, and you may need to move the tube a little while the pump is on to get it to start sucking the oil out. If you're a busy person, make sure you've got at least 20-30 minutes to spare, the pump isn't quick about getting the oil out, but to me, it's better than paying $50 for an oil change. So after getting the old oil out, putting the new oil in, and resetting the Change Oil Light, I was good to go! Was this pump worth the money? You bet it was! I've never even changed my own oil before, prior to buying this pump, so if I can operate this thing and get the results I want, then so can you!
