About Schmidt-Cassegrain Finder Scope Base
Capable of adaptation telescopes:
- Fits factory drilled holes on Celestron, Meade, and Orion Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, attaches directly to Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope (SCT) optical tube with included mounting hardware.
Capable of adaptation brackets:
- Synta-style dovetail base -- Fit standard finder scope, Laser Pointer, reflex sight bracket from Celestron, Orion, Sky-watcher, Vixen, etc. The groove design of dovetail base is more conducive to fixing the bracket.

Easy to Install
The finderscope base features a large thumbscrew lock to secure the finder scope bracket in place. Thanks to the size of the knurled thumbscrews, you can easily attach and detach your finder device, even when wearing heavy gloves. There are two attachment screws to hold it to your optical tube assembly. Just put it on the optical tube and tighten the screws.
Aluminium Alloy Material
Precision machined dovetail base in matte black, made of high strength aluminum with anodizing aluminium process, durable for long time use. Aluminum material is lighter than other metal materials and more convenient to carry.
Well-Designed in Shape
Drilled (but not threaded) to accommodate screws up to 4mm in diameter. The center-to-center screw hole spacing on the telescope is required to be between 21mm and 37.3mm for this dovetail base to be compatible. The groove design can perfectly fit with the brackets of the finder scope or red dot finderscope, making the connection more stable.
