It's a good camera module for the price. Everything is exactly as the listing states. I wish I would of read that it has a fixed focus before purchasing but that's on me.

[UPDATE]UCTRONICS reached out quickly after I posted my review. They offered to help and suggested a refund or replacement. Amazon, for some reason (because this has never happened before), only gave me 2 options to remedy the order for non-working item: pay for UPS to come pick it up or have me take it to a Kohls for the return (the only Kohls near me doesn't handle Amazoon returns). In light of this, I was especially grateful to UCTRONICS for issuing a quick refund for my purchase directly. While the product did not work for me, I'm changing my rating from 1 to 4 because of the seller's great custoomer service. I have confidence in purchasing from this seller again in the future.Following the manufacturer's instructions as well as the support docs at their site, this camera was not recognized by any of my Raspberry Pis (Zero, Zero WH, 3, 4, and 5). Searching the web for possible solutions revealed quite a few people have similar issues with this product. Returning.

It came with an instruction sheet, which I thought was nice. But, there were no instructions for swapping the attached cable for the one that fits the smaller Raspberry Pi Zero. Fortunately, they have a pretty fabulous web site that tells you how to do it. And all the necessary cables are included. Nice looking image too. More than adequate to remotely monitor a 3D printer.

Don't be fooled by "Feel free to contact Arducam if you need any help with the product." Their response is to point you at picamera2 docs that you can find in a second by searching.

I liked most was that it was a complete unit: Pi Camera and included flat cables for the Pi. In my case I'm using it with a Pi Zero. My past Pi camera projects were very much delayed because of wrong flat cables. This time I connected everything in a few minutes and had it working.

Bought the unit as part of an inexpensive security camera setup using MotionEYE. Sample 1280 x 1024 photo seems to have adequate depth of field and resolution although insufficient to read license plates more than about 30' away. Best for daytime use, not attempting to use under low light conditions.

The form factor is perfect for small camera projects, and being mounted to dev board makes attachment simple. It has great resolution, and a bright "on" led. I used mine with a Pi Zero, and the camera includes the smaller cable. The cable is pretty stiff, but that means it'll hold up well. Pay attention to the length of cable you need for your project thought. I ended up having to bundle and pack mine pretty fiercely.

For the price, this is a great camera. And it includes ribbon cables for Pi A/B/3 and for Pi Zero. I'm making a very small web/body/security camera fitting in a cigarette pack-sized container. This camera is just the ticket to use with the RPi-Cam-Web-Interface. Downloaded videos are sharp and frame rate is very decent.
