After a couple of uses, the strap began to unravel. It is no longer usable. I had to purchase another one in less than a week.

Do not purchase this chinstrap! The clasps did not fit together and the chinstrap would not snap. I had to throw it away. What a waste.

it's a good replacement for your helmet but the plastic part makes you think it will wear out sooner than you expect, i have been using this strap for about 2 months now and has been working really great, other than that this product is a good replacement partUpdate: the metal part gets rusty with time, unlike original bauer or easton straps, but it's not a big deal, i just ordered a couple of them to replace the old rusty one cause I don't want to have that rusty metal in my helmet, this time I got the Proguard one.
