El producto se be muy bien y el precio esta increíble mente bueno solo yo cometí un error y fue no fijarme en el tamaño de la conexión pued la lámpara tiene 5/8 y mis tuberias tiene un diámetro mucho más grande así q no la pude instalar por que obstruira en un porcentaje el paso de agua entonces la desarme y la pude dentro de el filtro

This product is useless most of the time this product just floats in my tank. The connections do not alow.me to make it inline so I go ahead and try to put it in front of my return pipe to no avail this thing just comes unsuctioned and than just floats. It's just pointless. I wish I would of just returned it when I got it. But I was nieve thinking I could make it work. I would not buy. Nor do I recommend this. Sorry for the bad reveiw but after using just seems it does not work as intended. Can't connect to in line and as for putting in front of return pipe it just does not stay ends up floating within hours

This UV light is better suited to use with a canister filter that you can install into the canister. I have a 3 stage power flow filter and installed the UV light where the water is pushed out from the filter. After 6 weeks, I still was getting Algae. Next time I get a UV light, I will buy an all in One filter with it already in the filter.

So far this UV light seems to be working well. The water in the 55 gallon tank is nice and clear after the light being on 24 hours for several days.I'll try cutting the time back a bit and see if the water still remains clear.It was very easy to install and I have not had any water leaks.

Before purchasing this uv light I tried numerous methods to clear up the water. Massive water changes, siphon gravel, reduce how much light the tank got, but nothing worked. This cleared it up in one day

While this unit is well made and does what it advertises, this unit as well as others sold on Amazon should not be used if WITHOUT this modification for ÏN TANK"use as they are lacking what I believe to be an 2 essential pieces for this unit to operate in tank without killing small fish the size of neon tetra's, guppies and danio's. 2 simple plastic filter cap strainer at each end that prevents the fish from swimming into the UV column which will surely "fry" the fish upon entry. See my photo for how I rigged up my own strainers attached with a small dab of aquarium silicone to protect my fish from meeting this premature death. Shame on the manufacturer for not realizing the safety hazard this poses to the wildlife as it is currently being shipped without such safety devices!
