This wiper motor is not compatible with my 2009 Nissan Muarno. Other reviews sound good so I'm not sure if the description is wrong or if I received the wrong part.It physically looked almost identical to the one I was replacing. The motor plugged into the wiring harness like it should, but it did not operate properly. Engaging any of the wiper settings resulted in the same behavior: the wipers would go back and forth several times and then stop completely.In addition, the mounting bracket broke when I tightened the bolts. Where it mounts, there's a semicircular piece that half wraps around a rod which is then secured with bolts. This piece must be slightly smaller than the rod it's supposed to mount onto; it looked just like the one I was replacing, but snugging the bolts caused part of this piece to snap off. Honestly the bolts would have held it in place and it would have probably effectively held in place like it should... I didn't even realize it had snapped until I noticed the other problems and removed it. But, it's an indication that this part isn't the right fit for a 2009 Murano.I was able to get a different replacement which did work, so that seems to confirm that this part was the issue and not my vehicle. It's odd that this part so closely resembled the correct motor, the mounting holes lined up, the wiring fit into the harness correctly, etc; I had put everything back together before noticing that the motor wasn't functioning the way it should (a quick test had shown that the wipers turned on but I hadn't tested out the various speeds or run it at length). Just writing this review to document my experience - maybe it will save somebody the effort of assembling and disassembling everything multiple times like I did.
