Took a chance and purchased this "affordable" serpentine belt for my BMW X5 4.8is and after installation, it was quiet and ran smoothy... until it exploded and shredded while starting my car in a parking lot about 50 miles of use.The car made a strange sound then my battery light came on and I turned off the car.All pulleys and the tensioner are new and in good condition with proper alignment.I don't recommend this belt. Go with a reputable brand like Gates or Continental.
