WHEN YOU ORDER ITEMS FROM A COMPANY, YOU HAVE FAITH THAT ALL THE PRODUCT WORKS. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CANT SEND IT BACK. $14.00 MAY NOT SEEM LIKE A LOT, ALL BULBS SHOULD WORK. ONE OF THE BLUBS ISNT AND I NEEDED FIVE BULBS TO WORK. IT CAME OUT OF BOX THIS WAY. I WOULD APPRECIATE A REPLACEMENT BULB. THANK YOU

This was the closest thing I could find to replace a burned out "puck" light. The Halogen bulbs that I have used for years seem to be unavailable now. Any way the Xenon bulbs work fine and hopefully will last as long or longer than the previous bulbs.

Each bulb is encased in bubblewrap, inside it's own cardboard box. 5 boxes inside one bigger to ensure protection of the bulbs.Arrived in perfect condition, everything intact and works great. Is not a dimming bulb.

Wow. The price is GREAT. this same product is very expensive at local stores, this newer version offers a design of the bulb that makes it easier to handle and replace and insert. I bought 12 for future needs I think the bulbs will decrease in intensity over time and replacements are at handBtw. There is a LED version available.

I'm sold on the idea of Xenon bulbs over Halogen bulbs as I've read the advantages include burning 10 to 15 percent cooler so not as apt to overheat AND they last longer. A good quality halogen bulb supposedly will last an average of 2,000 hours whereas a xenon bulb should last 2.5 times longer, an average of 5,000 hours. Where halogen bulbs had to be handled carefully avoiding oils on a person's fingers that's not the case for xenon as they are not damaged when handled with bare hands. Xenon bulbs do not emit UV light as halogen do, which can fade the color of materials.Having said all that, I have 5 under-cabinet light fixtures and they sometimes are on continuously from morning to bedtime, but I'm not certain these bulbs always last as long as they should. Every once in a while one also gets super bright as the filament appears to touch the glass and then soon burns out. Nevertheless, they are fairly cheap and easy to replace and I keep buying more of them...

I have 6 under cabinet lights and I love the Xenon. These work so much better than the halogen ones I used to buy. This was my 2nd order. They are so much easier to put in because I can touch them and the light is still warm. Even better, they seem to last at least 2 x's as long. The last perk is that right before they do burn out, the light gets really bright white, so you get a "warning" a couple of hours before they fail. I like that!

We purchased these bulbs for the light in our curio cabinet. They work perfectly and fit well, but they aren't as bright as a comparable halogen bulb (which is what we normally use). My hubby wanted to try out xenon bulbs since they give off less heat, but we'll be switching back to halogens. We're going to keep these on-hand as backups and for the price and ease of ordering, they are totally worth the money, even if they weren't as bright as we'd have liked.

Not only do they replace them but shine BRIGHTER than Home Depot's.Trying to keep 15 of these under cabinet lights in service was driving me more than a little crazy. Shut a door above a light while on too hard (or god forbid it slam) and you'd think the little thing went supernova. I ended up replacing 4 of them the same day when they arrived last month. One of them was under the cabinet where the glasses are kept (the most used door in the kitchen.)About an hour ago while getting a glass, damn if I didn't shut the door to hard (rushing cuz of thirst and to wanting to get back to my "friend" staying over, BTW its 3 am now) anyway, to my amazement was not blinded nor standing in a dark corner. Did that just happen? How many boxes did I order... enough to see if that bulb would survive another attack. So I did it again but harder, still on, so again but with more force, yep still on. I was about to try again when my buddy shouts "dude calm down what's got you so pissed off!" Needless to say I just started laughing while explaining what that was all about. So decided I'd log on and and tell you all about it. That these bulbs are not only tough but a lot of fun. Here is to Anyray may we never be without under cabinet lighting again. ;-)Also - Thank you Kathy D, ZeroBias and Francine Walker for responding to my question regarding these tough little bulbs.Oh, and please god let Amazon's stock continue to rise. BTW If you have the means I highly recommend calling your broker and buying a block or two....Night!
