...and these lovely PoE adapters let me get rid of them. I'm using a few of these to power Raspberry Pi 4s with no problem, and other versions to power various other IOT-type devices around the house. I love just being able to run a CAT6 cable and be done with it.

I ordered four of these to power 4 Raspberry Pi 4 ( 8GB) units. None of them worked properly, the Pi would boot and then a little while later reboot, try to fix the FS corruption then reboot again. Had to switch back to powering with USB-C adapters

Connecting this device to my poe switch causes some sort of overload/overvoltage/surge protection on that specific port on my switch. The port stops providing power, even if I try to connect a different PoE device. The only way I could get this to work is to power down the SWITCH, connect the device, then power the switch back on. Any attempt to disconnect then reconnect the device results in the same issue described above. I tried connecting the device first then the switch, and vice-versa, but the result was the same. I have tried all 4 in this set with the same result.Powering down the PoE Switch obviously kills power to all my PoE devices, which is not acceptable.I have ordered a different PoE switch and hoping that that may solve the issue, but given the current issue, I cannot recommend this device.100% would return if I lived still lived in the US and got free return shipping.UPDATE: I have now tested this product with a different PoE switch from a different manufacturer (TP-Link TL-SG1005P V2). It now works as expected. I can connect and disconnect the PoE splitter without affecting the switch or having to restart it. I am upgrading my review from a 1 star to 3stars.

Originally I posted "Purchased a 4 pack of these. None of them work. Swapped POE injectors & ether cables. Still nothing. Very disappointed". Turns out these ANVISION's use lots of power and a Wavelan TP-Link PoE injector and one other I was using didn't deliver enough power to operate. I retested with a rackmount poetexas.com PoE injector. Works great. These ANVISION units likely use a Buck stepdown converter which require plenty of power to operate.
