very sturdy fuse holder that is rated for 40 amps. many of the bladed fuse holders that say 40 amps are actually only 30 amps. easy to install.

This is a nice heavy duty unit, much better than many out there, Electrical connections are very good. However it does not seal tight around the wire, making it possible for moisture and stuff to get in. Id does say its for 0awg to 4 awg, and Im using 4 awg, so maybe thats why the housing is loose around the wire. It would be nice if it had some grommets, like some other brands, to put on the wire to make it more moisture and junk proof. I know it is not supposed to be waterproof and not advertised that way...but in the engine compartment it does get hit by elements.
